Welcome to the Sixth Form

The Crest Academy 6th Form is an integral part of Crest Academy, providing excellent opportunities for students to personally thrive and be academically prepared for the next stage in their professional career.

Whilst we offer many opportunities for students to excel, we strongly believe that academic rigour is the key to future success. All of our 6th Form teachers are subject specialists and have been to some of the very best universities in the UK and beyond. For instance, we have A-Level teachers who have attended Russell Group universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Nottingham, Kings College London, York, Warwick, Southampton. The advantage is that they not only have high aspirations for their students, but they know what it takes to get into these prestigious educational institutions.

Our provision of enrichment is also something that we are extremely proud of. We offer everything from public speaking workshops to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme to live projects with Transport for London. We work with local organisations such as the DVS Foundation and the US Trust, as well as national organisations such as the National Citizenship Service (NCS).

We also offer opportunities for students to apply for work experience placements. Our current Year 12 students have secured placements with Disney+, Allen & Overy, KPMG and various engineering and medically related organisations.

Finally, our support for the UCAS application process is comprehensive. All of our Year 12 students begin the process and complete their first draft of their personal statement before the start of Year 13. We want to ensure that our 6th Formers are finished with the application as soon as possible, so that they can secure their offers and spend the remaining amount of time focusing on achieving the grades they need to go to a top university. We also provide bespoke support for students seeking an apprenticeship or degree-apprenticeship, whether that be with the NHS, or a professional services organisation such as PWC.

Please find linked below a copy of our brochure, our dress code, mobile phone policy and our entry requirements. Please take a look at this website and do enquire if you have any further questions.

Best wishes
